Need a hand with MoJUKo's Tower Defence? The answers below cover the most common questions โ and if you're still stuck, we're one email away.
Getting started
How do I play?
Tap a turret in the build bar, then tap a highlighted green tile to place it. Destroy enemies to earn ๐ฐ credits; enemies that leak through cost โค๏ธ lives. Tap a placed turret to upgrade it through three tiers, change its targeting priority, or sell it back.
Press START WAVE when your defence is ready โ there's no timer between waves in the campaign, so take your time planning. Clear all five waves (and the Overlord boss) to win the level and unlock the next. There are 18 levels and eight turret types in all.
Do I need an account to play?
No. The whole 18-level campaign works offline with no sign-in โ your progress and scores are saved on your device.
Signing in (with Google, or an email address and password) is optional. It adds cloud-saved game history, a spot on the public leaderboard, and access to online 1v1 Versus โ which needs an account so your opponent can see who they're up against.
Online 1v1 Versus
How does Versus work?
Tap VERSUS on the main menu. Quick Match pairs you with the first player waiting; Create Room gives you a 6-letter code to send a friend, who taps JOIN and enters it.
You both play the same map on your own board at the same time. Their lives, wave and status appear on your screen in real time. Win by outlasting them โ their base falls first โ or by clearing all five waves before they do.
Quick Match can't find an opponent
Quick Match pairs you with real players who are searching at that moment, so at quiet times there may be nobody to match with. You'll keep hosting an open match until someone arrives โ leave it running, or tap CANCEL and try again later.
To play right now, use Create Room instead and send the 6-letter code to a friend. That works any time, with no waiting.
What are attack squads?
During a Versus match you can spend your credits to send extra enemies at your opponent's base โ they arrive on their board marked with a red warning ring. Each squad has a short cool-down so it can't be spammed.
Attack enemies pay only half the usual bounty, so surviving one isn't free income. Sending squads is a real trade: credits spent attacking are credits you didn't spend on your own defence.
Why do waves start on their own in Versus?
Versus is a race, so waves auto-start on a countdown โ 20 seconds before wave 1, then 14 seconds between waves. You can always start a wave early to get ahead. The campaign is unchanged: there, waves only start when you say so.
I lost connection during a match
Short drops are fine โ the game keeps simulating your board locally and catches up when you're back. If you go quiet for around 30 seconds your opponent is offered the win, and leaving a live match counts as resigning.
If your opponent goes silent, a banner appears offering you the win. Tap it to claim the match.
Versus says something went wrong
Versus needs a connection and a signed-in account. Check you're online, confirm you're signed in from the menu, then try again. If a room code doesn't work, remember codes are six characters and expire when the host leaves โ ask your friend for a fresh one.
If it keeps failing, email us with your device model and roughly when it happened.
Accounts & progress
My progress disappeared โ can I get it back?
Local progress lives on your device, so deleting the app (or switching to a new device) clears it. If you were signed in, your game history and best scores are stored in the cloud โ sign in with the same account and they'll be there.
If something still looks wrong, email us and we'll investigate.
Sign-in isn't working
First, check that you're online โ sign-in needs a connection even though the campaign itself doesn't. Then try closing and reopening the app, and make sure you're using the same method (Google, or email and password) you originally signed up with. If you've forgotten your password, use the reset link on the sign-in screen.
Still stuck? Email us with your device model and what happens when you try, and we'll sort it out.
How do I delete my account and data?
You can do it yourself in the app: tap your name in the top-right of the main menu, then Delete account. Or email info@mojuko.com from the email address linked to your account and ask us to delete it. We'll remove your sign-in record, game history, and leaderboard entry, and confirm once it's done.
Data stored only on your device is removed when you uninstall the app.
Troubleshooting
No sound or music
Check the in-game audio toggles first, then your device volume. On iPhone, flip the Ring/Silent switch โ some devices mute game audio in silent mode.
Found a bug, or have an idea for the game?
We'd love to hear it โ new turrets, levels, and balance tweaks are all driven by player feedback. Email us with as much detail as you can (screenshots help a lot for bugs).
